Retail Crime Initiative

The Corby Retail Crime Initiative (CRCI) was established in 2016 to fight retail crime. It is a non-profit making organisation and is fully supported by Northamptonshire Police. It is part of the Northamptonshire Business Crime Partnership.

The CRCI forms part of the Northamptonshire Business Crime Partnership and joins forces with over 500 member stores countywide, from the biggest national retailers to smaller independent local traders. Members are currently located in Corby Town centre covering the whole of the town centre, Phoenix Parkway, St Marks and other estates in the town.

The CRCI's ethos is to Prevent, Disrupt and Deter those intent on committing retail crime and anti-social behaviour in retail areas. Join the CRCI and become part of an internationally recognised award-winning scheme that enables the retail community to show a united front.

In July 2025, NBCP achieved the BCRP National Standards Accreditation which is valid for 3 years and is a gold standard for Business Crime Reduction Partnership work.
